Facebook chat option suppresses the mobile application and urges downloaded Facebook Messenger

Facebook chat option suppresses the mobile application and urges downloaded Facebook Messenger

Facebook has begun notifying its users in some countries in Europe within two weeks can not send messages to your friends and contacts through its general mobile application. The company Mark Zuckerberg deleted chat option software and is inviting those who use it to download Facebook Messenger for iOS and Android to communicate through that pathway.

The chat button of Facebook app will continue in the same place, but when pierced head to Facebook Messenger users automatically.

A spokesman for the company Menlo Park The Verge has recognized that this is not a test and that the option will be removed in all countries . However, there will be some exceptions. So , those users who have a low-end Android phone may continue to use instant messaging in the general application of Facebook . The social network is aware that these terminals have short memories and do not want to force anyone to download more an app.

Clearly the company Mark Zuckerberg is committing more than ever with Facebook Messenger WhatsApp after acquiring . A few days ago , the company announced the inclusion of voice calls in your messaging app , a feature that was scheduled to be included in the tool double blade.

What users would argue having to have two apps on their smartphones to do the same before they could do with one? We'll know in the coming weeks.

[HACK - FACEBOOK] 8 Ball Pool Extended Guidelines by evolution83

[HACK - FACEBOOK] 8 Ball Pool Extended Guidelines by evolution83

Until there is a working hack / cheat for the mobile version of 8 Ball Pool, I figured I'd post instructions for the same cheat that works on Facebook.

**NOTE - THIS IS NOT A MOBILE HACK - DESKTOP ONLY!!!**

You will need Fiddler for this to work and a modified 8 Ball Pool .swf game file. Links have been provided below to both, along with a video tutorial.

The current version of 8 Ball Pool on Facebook is 2.9.1. The instructions here will work until the game is updated, to which I will then provide a new game file (once it becomes available).

INSTRUCTIONS
8 Ball Pool extended gideline(13 april 2014)Fiddler2 game_v2.9.1 - YouTube

1.Download the required file and tools

Fiddler

2. Clear your browser cache

IN FIREFOX: CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE THEN CLICK CLEAR BROWSING DATA
IN CHROME: CTRL+H, THEN CLEAR BROWSING DATA
IN INTERNET EXPLORER: CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE THEN CLICK CLEAR BROWSING DATA

3. Install fiddler, after installing run it

4. Open
8 Ball Pool on MINICLIP.COM (VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO IT FROM MINICLIP.COM AND NOT FACEBOOK) and login your Facebook account OR Miniclip account

5. In fiddler find this url "/games/8-ball-pool-multiplayer/en/game_v*2.9.1DStyv3.swf" without quotations

6. Then, right click it, and ''copy'' then click "just URL"

7. Go to "Autoresponder" tab then check "enable automatic responses and unmatched request passthrough"

8. Drag the modified .swf file you downloaded above into Fiddler on the right-hand side of the screen (game_v2.9.1.swf)

9. Go to the rule editor, replace (paste) the current rule with the URL that you copied in STEP 6

10. After you replace it click "save" (bottom right-hand corner)

11. Go back to the game and clear your browser cache like you do in STEP 2

12. Reload the game. You should now have extended guidelines

13. Enjoy

Here is a video (not in English and has no sound) for those who would like to follow along.

Facebook and Competitions

Facebook and Competitions

Do not surprise anyone if I say that what most people tend to like things are free , we are well and nothing can stop it. How can we take advantage of it being community managers ? The answer is simple and one word: Contests .

Among the many tools and social networks that can use CMs , there is one that lends itself well to host contests , Facebook . A priori one can think to do contests on Facebook is easy. Who has not seen the typical contests business pages are to achieve the maximum number of " likes "?
The problem of competitions on Facebook

However, something that not many people know is that following the policy of Facebook promotions , contests can not be made in the wall of a page . Not to get "Like" , or upload photos, and get comments ... Following strictly this policy, all contests and promotions must be hosted on third party applications. Once there are housed should encourage participation in the application itself or in a separate tab for that promotion on our site .

Once we create this application , we can do photo competitions , videos , comments ... and encourage feedback , but always within the application .

Another thing that not many people know is that you can not communicate to the winners on the wall , or contact them via Facebook private message . It requires asking participants the email or mailing address in the registration process of the application and contact them those two ways.

Moreover our promotions should always be aimed at people over 18 and not give prizes as : alcohol, snuff , petrol , games, and more bizarre as firearms , prescription drugs ...

Gradually pages of major companies and large these standards are accepted and are going all Facebook applications , but what about small business pages that do not have money or staff who can design an application or know ? It is one of the many questions that arise from this, no easy answer.

What do you think these rules ? Do some knowledge ?

Facebook Messenger heads for Windows Phone

Facebook Messenger heads for Windows Phone
Facebook Messenger app will be delivered with a completely new user interface unique to Windows Phone.

Microsoft revealed at a press event ahead of Mobile World Congress that Facebook Messenger will be arriving on Windows Phone in the next few weeks.

Microsoft Vice President and Manager for Windows Phone, Joe Belfiore, was speaking at a press event in Barcelona ahead of Mobile World Congress when he confirmed its arrival.

“We’ve been working with Facebook testing out their implementation for a while,” Belfiore said. ”It’s looking good and we will have it for our customers soon.”

The Facebook Messenger app will be delivered with a completely new user interface that’s unique to Windows Phone.

It will be separate from the main Facebook app and will work independently.

Last year, Windows Phone vendors shipped 33.4 million devices globally, giving the operating system a market share of 3.3 percent.

That's up from Windows Phone's share of 2.4 percent in 2012, and marks a near doubling of the growth rate for the overall smartphone market.

Although Windows Phone is looking to further expand its app market as still sits behind iPhone and Android phone sales.

“There’s a number of more great apps coming soon,” Belfiore added. “Stay tuned as you hear about more compelling demanded user apps coming for Windows Phone.”

There are now some 200,000+ apps on the Windows Phone store, according to Belfiore, with app downloads totalling 4 billion.

Facebook Adds Dozens of New Gender options

Facebook Adds Dozens of New Gender options. For the first time, Facebook is letting its users identify themselves as a gender other than male and female. The social media giant has added a customizable option with about 50 different terms people can use to identify their gender as well as three preferred pronoun choices: him, her or them. A message on Facebook might now invite a user's friend to write a birthday message on "their" wall, instead of "his" or "her" wall.

The basic user profile for members now includes a customizable category among the gender types that users must select, Facebook announced on Thursday. The feature was first rolled out (like many other Facebook features) to users with their language settings as US English.

The new feature is aimed at giving people more choices in how they describe themselves, such as androgynous, bi-gender, intersex, gender fluid or transsexual.

Facebook Adds Dozens of New Gender options

Facebook said users also can control the audience who can view a custom choice, noting the challenges that some people may face in publicly sharing their gender identity. The company said it worked with a leading group of gay and transgender advocacy organizations to come up with the selection of identity options. Users of rival Google+ social network already had an "other" option for gender.

At this point, Facebook targets advertising according to male or female genders. For those who change to something neutral, ads will be targeted based on the pronoun they select for themselves. Unlike getting engaged or married, changing gender is not registered as a "life event" on the site and won't post on timelines. Therefore, Facebook said advertisers cannot target ads to those who declare themselves transgender or recently changed their gender.

Users also can select "neither" or "other" and separately indicate whether they want to be referred to as he, she or they.

"We want you to feel comfortable being your true, authentic self," Facebook said.

Rose Venkatesan, India's first transgender television host and radio jockey, expressed her delight at the new feature in a Facebook update, "Finally, Facebook has added other options for gender than Male and Female. I expressed my issue some months ago that FB doesn't have options beyond M and F. I am now Trans Woman, in FB gender. Yeah!"

How to Add Facebook Recommendation bar to Blogger

Hi friends! To day i share with you a nothing latest but great post How to Add Facebook Recommendation bar to Blogger. The recommendations bar lets people like content, get recommendations and share what they’re reading with their friends. Facebook is probably the biggest social networking website in the world. This is the reason why most of the corporate companies utilize Facebook for marketing their material and making it go viral on Social media. Facebook provides various ways of making your content go viral through Facebook like box, Facebook comments, Facebook like button. The recommendation bar is not something new, in fact you see it on many websites. It’s that box that appears to the right side of your blog or website with links to articles on your site, offered as ‘recommended for reading’ to your visitors. This is a good approach to adopt if you want to increase your pageviews, but bear in mind that not all visitors would like to be interrupted with such a floating box.

Step 1. Create Facebook Application

Before you can use the Facebook plugin for blogger, go to the Facebook App page and click on the button Create New App.
1. Go to facebook Developer Page.
2. and create app like setting below.

3. Enter the captcha security code. Click Continue.
Just click Website with Facebook Login tab and inside the box input your blog URL. See the screenshot below. Do not touch remaining options and click Save Changes.

Now you will land of a new page which would provide you your application details like App ID, App Secret and etc. You need to copy “app ID” and enter them later. ( See Screenshot above )

Step 2. Add It To Blogger

1. Go to you blogger Dashboard>>Template>>edit html
2. Search for this code.
<html

3. Replace with below code.
<html xmlns:fb='http://ogp.me/ns/fb#'
  • This will make the recommendation bar compatible in older versions of browsers also.
4. Paste the Following below code before closing < body /> tag.

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'><b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "static_page"'>

<fb:recommendations-bar action='like' max_age='0' num_recommendations='3' read_time='5' side='right' site='http://www.makemoneyfreewithus.blogspot.com' trigger='30%'/>

</b:if></b:if>

You are almost done. Make these changes:
  • Just replace *************** with your 15 digit App Id that you saved in step1.
  • and replace http://www.myblogger-tricks.com with your blog home page link.
  • and save it.. you are done!!!...

More Editing in code above

The plugin is expanded once the trigger parameter requirements are met, and the person has been on the page for at least the duration specified in the read_time parameter. There are three values for the trigger parameter:
  • onvisible. The plugin is expanded when people scroll past the exact point where the <fb:recommendations-bar /> tag is placed on the page. This is the simplest option and will work best if you place the tag right at the end of your article's main content. This is the default.
  • X%, where X is any positive integer less than or equal to 100. This specifies the percent of the page that must be scrolled before the plugin is expanded. For example: 100% would indicate that people need to scroll all the way to the end of the page before the plugin expands. 50% indicates that people need to scroll to the middle point of the page.
  • manual. Use this option to manually trigger the plugin. When you want to trigger the plugin, callFB.XFBML.RecommendationsBar.markRead(href); in JavaScript. The href parameter is optional and will default to the current page if not set. If provided, it must match the href parameter on the XFBML tag. The manual trigger is useful when you have more a multipage article. For example on a three-page article, you would add trigger="manual" on pages one and two and never call the markRead JavaScript function on those pages.
The read_time parameter tells the plugin to wait a certain amount of time before it expands. It takes an integer representing the number of seconds. By default this will be set to 30 seconds. The minimum is 10 seconds. Note that in order for the plugin to expand, the trigger condition must be true, and the read_time must be met.

The Above Documentation Provided by Facebook Developer Team..
Save your template and see the plugin work correctly. If any thing went wrong just your post query below in comments. I will reply back as soon as time allow. I hope the installation was very simple and easy.

Hi friends this topic old but i think its imported for student. Facebook a popular name among those who are so into it. Individuals who have an account in Facebook are now using more of their time to socialize with other people amidst the distance and lack of time. And even if a community like Facebook serves numerous advantages, it also proves to have certain disadvantages as well. There are now series of improvements in the system just to make up with the shortcomings. Arguments regarding the different advantages and disadvantages of Facebook are stated below.

Facebook Advantages
  • Allows user search for new and old friends
  • Accessible to chosen universities having a high level of security
  • Makes it less awkward when communicating with strangers or people you are not familiar with
  • Love attraction - can be used as a dating service system
  • Makes it easier to join groups having similar likes and dislikes
  • Allows members to check students who are taking the same class, living within the same area, or coming from the same academy

Facebook Disadvantages
  • Overcrowding
  • Weakening long distance relationship
  • Unsupported by physical adjacency
  • Contributes wide-range procrastination
  • Rampant addiction
  • Stalking is possible
  • Acquaintances be labeled as friends

Surely, the disadvantages don't pose a threat to you just by merely looking at it. Someone else has to prove that what users do with their profile is directly in proportion with what can happen to them. A user must understand what he is trying to give out otherwise things might get messy and people will mistook them as someone else.

It is quite obvious that a trade off is happening between the advantages and disadvantages of Facebook. While it increases the communication and connection between friends and the online community it also increases the risk of procrastination and makes it easier for others to stalk a user. Worse, some are actually punished for what they put on their profile and would claim that it was there only for fun.

Simple But Best Tips Load Social Widgets Conditionally to Improve your Site’s Performance

Now days Social Sharing is now tightly integrated into all mobile OS platforms. That means if someone is viewing a web page on an Android phone, or inside the mobile Safari browser of an iPhone, they can share that web page on Twitter and Facebook using the system-wide sharing menu without having to rely on bookmark-lets or those tiny social sharing widgets.

These “tweet” and “like” buttons add several extra kilobytes to your web pages and if mobile users are less likely to use them, you may as well consider removing the social buttons completely when your website is accessed from a mobile phone. This reduces clutter and also improves the page speed score which is now a factor in Google search rankings.

Remove the Social Buttons on Mobile Devices
If you are sort-of convinced that social sharing widgets are less useful on your mobile site, here’s what you can do to prevent them from loading on the small screen. Remember, we aren’t just hiding the buttons but removing them completely so the associated JavaScript and CSS files won’t download on the user’s mobile device.

How to Load Social Widgets Conditionally
The technique is simple. We calculate the width of the user’s screen /browser and if the width exceeds a particular value (say 480 pixels), we load the associated social widgets.

To implement conditional loading on your blog /website, first add all the necessary social widgets to your blog using the usual procedure. For instance, you can visit facebook.com to generate code for the Like button while dev.twitter.com will provides codes the Tweet and Follow widgets of Twitter.

Remove the JavaScript from these generated codes – everything that’s between the

I have implemented a variation of the above code on my site as well. There’s a Facebook Like box in the right sidebar but it won’t load if you open this site on a mobile device.

Stop Brands from Using You in their Facebook Ads

If you have checked your Facebook account in recent days, it is very likely that you have seen sponsored stories in your newsfeed that read something like ”<Friend’s Name> likes <Brand’s Name>.” These are basically social ads where the advertiser is targeting friends of connections to promote their Facebook Page.

    Facebook Social Ads

For instance, if James likes Samsung, the Korean company can create Facebook ads that target James’ friends and the ads will read like “James Likes Samsung.”

When your name appears in these social Facebook ads, it may give an impression that you have endorsed a particular brand. And this isn’t just limited to Facebook Pages as brands may use your likes to promote mobile apps as well as events that you have RSVP’d on Facebook.

How to Opt-out of Sponsored Stories

Facebook, unfortunately, doesn’t offer you can an option to opt-out of these social ads so if you like a brand of Facebook, your profile is very likely to show up in sponsored stories appearing on your friends’ newsfeeds.

    There is however a workaround
Set the privacy of your Facebook Likes as private and thus brands won’t be able to use your likes for ads.

To do so, go to your About page on Facebook and scroll down to the Likes section. Click the Edit button (the one with the Pen icon) and then choose Edit Privacy. Set the privacy of “Other” and “Interests” to “Only Me” and brands won’t be able to use your profile in their sponsored stories.

Now Export Email Addresses of all your Facebook Friends

Export Email Addresses of all your Facebook Friends

New day new one. Search the Facebook Apps directory for something like “export contacts” and you’ll find quite a few applications that sound as if they can transfer your friends contact information out of Facebook.

There’s an app called “Export Friends” that will save you friends names, city, birthday and their current location in a CSV (text) file that you then import into Gmail or any other web email programs. Then there are social plug-ins that can sync photos and status updates of your Facebook friends with matching contacts in Outlook.

The problem is that none of these apps can download what you are looking – the phone numbers and email addresses of your Facebook friends. There are Greasemonkey scripts (or hacks) that can pull this information from Facebook through “web scraping” but don’t ever take that route as Facook might ban your account forever.

Export Email Addresses of your Facebook Contacts

Facebook APIs don’t expose email addresses of users and hence none of the Facebook apps can provide you with the actual contact data of your friends. There’s however a simple (and perfectly legal) workaround that can help you easily download all your friends email addresses from Facebook’s walled garden.

Go to address.yahoo.com and click the Facebook icon. A login dialog should pop-up, just sign-in with your Facebook credentials and within seconds, you entire Facebook address book will be available inside your Yahoo Mail Account. Once the import is done, click this link to download a CSV file with the email addresses of all your Facebook contacts to your desktop.

You can then import the CSV file into Gmail Contacts, LinkedIn, your phone address book or any of the social sites where you want to connect with your existing Facebook circle.

If Yahoo! is unable to import your Facebook Address book, open your Facebook page and choose “Application Settings” under Account. Next remove the “Yahoo! Contact Importer” application from your Facebook profile .
