 Smartphone manufacturer in China, Gionee officially launched new flagship smartphone Elife S5.5 company in Goa , India, on Monday ( March 31) .

Bound to be the world's thinnest smartphone, S5.5 Elife measures only 5.5 mm thick and although it has metal chassis that weighs a meager 130 grams . Energy boasts a 5.0 inch AMOLED display with super-efficient Full HD 1920x1080p resolution is made .

Under the hood , which is included with v4.2 Android Jelly Bean OS with custom UI v2.0 friend , MediaTek 1.7GHz processor , 2GB of RAM , 16GB of internal memory and a battery of 2300 mAh Li based -Ion (not removable) .

The new Gionee also has a standard 13.0 megapixel camera ( with autofocus, LED flash ) and 5.0 megapixel wide-angle (95 degrees) of the camera in the front, giving enough space to have a decent selfie group (or individual) as well as having a video chat quality

Gionee Elife S5.5 is being launched in more than 40 countries with India is the first, after China, the company said.
